If you have this on your table in the morning what would you want to have for breakfast? This just arrived last evening fresh from where they are grown. I love summer for all these wonderful fruits. Nature is filled with amazing colours when you least expect it. This is a family recipe and have taken different forms in different seasons, also influenced by similar recipes from different books at different times. This is my take on it of course with permission from my sons who kind of owns it and my husband’s favourite daily breakfast.

Utensil/ Appliance

Ingredients

  • Honey oats: 1 table spoon. Prepare ahead. Take 50g rolled oats, sprinkle 1 table spoon of honey, mix it and spread it on a baking tray and bake at 180° C in a pre-heated oven for 10 min or till they turn nice and golden.
  • Cool and store.
  • Walnuts: 3
  • Curd: 6 tbsp
  • Fresh fruits: 1/2 a mango cut in cubes + 3 apricots peeled and cut in half + 1 large peach peeled and cut in 8 pieces
  • Honey : 1 tbsp

Method

Put half the curd in a large glass, place all the fruits then top it up with rest of the curd. Sprinkle the honey oats, place the walnut on top and drizzle the honey. Dig in with a spoon. A healthy and cool sumptuous breakfast to kickstart your day!
