My latest weakness – potato wedges. I feel good that I upgraded from fried potato fingers to the healthy, baked wedges. It is healthier than the fried potatoes. I love potatoes. I love a lot of fatty food, but I am not known for my healthy waistline because I have none. I do not eat too much and work out regularly but not too much.

I strongly believe in not doing too much of anything. I think it is important to eat a little bit of what you really crave for and when you crave for it. Then it’s end of story. You end up feeling good and do not add that extra pound unnecessary. Also having a regular exercise routine is very important for me. Even if it’s 10-15 minutes everyday, it’s got to be everyday. Gives me license to eat what ever I want!

Utensil/ Appliance

Oven preheated @200 degrees

Ingredients

  • Potatoes: 4 large, cut into wedges with the skin on
  • Paprika: 1 tsp
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil: 1 tbsp

Method

Mix the paprika, salt, oil and pepper in a large bowl and then add the potato wedges. Toss them over to mix well. Lay a parchment on the baking tray, place the wedges and bake in the oven for 30 min. Done. Season with salt, pepper and more paprika if you like, serve hot.
